Singer Trini releases new album, corrects relationship with musician Quoc Bao

The album Portrait includes 9 songs: My portrait, Just like 2 verses, Long as breath, Fade, Run away, That fairyland, Ashes of fame, Ephemeral, Confused , Written by musician Quoc Bao in the post-Covid-19 pandemic period, when he felt the loneliest and most stuck. Therefore, most of the songs have a sad tone, even the song Fade - a blues song, was born when the author was depressed, or the song Run describes the melancholy of a person who has to escape from the world because of too much pressure in life. The only song about happiness in the album is That fairyland . For Trini, the album is a sketch of part of her appearance on the journey of maturity in her music career.

In addition to his singing orientation, Quoc Bao realized that Trini had the potential to compose and expressed his belief that she could pursue the role of singer-songwriter.

According to musician Quoc Bao, Portrait belongs to the main genre of pop, the subgenre is adult contemporary pop (pop music for adults, different from teen pop - pop music for teenagers). After many experiments, Quoc Bao chose Trini to follow this genre because her voice was not suitable for singing teen music; and he called the singer born in 1995 "the nightingale of fiery love songs".

Compared to the female singers he worked with before, Quoc Bao realized that Trini had a strong voice and performance style but was quite fragile and weak under pressure.

Releasing 2 albums in 3 years, musician Quoc Bao said: "If in 7 years, the singer has not changed at all, then releasing 1 album in 7 years is reasonable. Trini has improved every year, so 2 albums in 3 years is reasonable." He acknowledged that the album is a product that "marks each step of maturity of a singer." For Trini, she feels satisfied at the present time because she loves singing and always wants to sing.

Also at the new product launch event, before the title "Quoc Bao's muse", Trini spoke up to affirm that she and musician Quoc Bao have a clear distinction in the relationship between singer and musician. From the first time working together, the two agreed not to let emotions or money influence. Trini sees him as a teacher who imparts knowledge and experience. For musician - Quoc Bao, the muse needs to ensure two factors go hand in hand: love and music. Trini's enthusiasm and determination have become a source of inspiration for him to continue composing songs after a 3-year hiatus from writing music, but there is no romantic relationship between the two.

Trini's income comes entirely from music. She has been saving money to make albums, film music videos, and organize live concerts for the past 3 years.

Attending the event to release the album Portrait , Trini's mother also shared that at first, the family did not agree with her pursuing a singing career because they were afraid that she would suffer, but the singer's determination to pursue art convinced her parents. "This is also the achievement that makes Trini feel happiest and proudest in 3 years of working," the singer expressed.

After the album Portrait , Trini plans to continue saving money to perform a series of covers of Blue Wave 's old hits.
