Localities continue to add capital entrusted through the People's Credit Fund

According to the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, Phu Yen branch (VBSP Phu Yen), recently, some localities have continued to supplement the budget capital entrusted through the VBSP for loans to promptly meet the capital needs of poor households and other policy beneficiaries in the province.

Specifically, Tay Hoa district added 2.5 billion VND, Dong Xuan district transferred an additional 1 billion VND. The proactive increase in entrusted capital from the local budget shows the close attention of authorities at all levels in implementing preferential credit policies, contributing to supporting poor households and other policy beneficiaries to have conditions to develop production and business, and improve their lives.

In the first 4 months of 2025, the total capital entrusted from the local budget through the VBSP in the whole province increased by more than 80.2 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year. Of which, the provincial capital was 35 billion VND, and the district capital was more than 38 billion VND. Specifically, Tuy Hoa city entrusted 9 billion VND; Dong Hoa town and Song Cau town, each locality transferred 4.5 billion VND; Tuy An district added 4 billion VND; Son Hoa district and Tay Hoa district, each entrusted 3.5 billion VND; Song Hinh district 3.05 billion VND; Dong Xuan district and Phu Hoa district, each locality 3 billion VND. In addition, there was an interest income of more than 6.3 billion VND; the income from the budget for directing, managing, synthesizing, inspecting, supervising and rewarding from interest on loans from local budget capital reached 850 million VND.

Thus, by the end of April 2025, the total local budget capital entrusted to the VBSP was more than 453 billion VND, accounting for 9% of total loan capital.
