After a minute of silence, provincial leaders burned incense at the stele house and visited the grave of martyr Hong Quang.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu burned incense to commemorate the contributions of revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs.

During the resistance war against American imperialism, the army and people of Hai Duong coordinated with the main force to participate in 2,321 battles, shooting down 83 American planes.

Summing up the war against America to save the country, Hai Duong province had 125,369 young men enlisting in the army, 6,113 young men volunteering to go to the front line, of which 26,876 people heroically sacrificed their lives and 11,449 people left some of their blood and bones on all battlefields.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau burned incense to commemorate the contributions of revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs.

The whole province has 6,272 resistance fighters and their children infected with Agent Orange/dioxin, over 4,000 mothers were awarded or posthumously awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother by the State and thousands of people were awarded medals, badges and other noble awards by the State.
