The 'big guys' PV GAS, PV Power, BSR, Petrolimex, Masan signed a series of agreements with American partners.

DNVN - Witnessed by Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, many important and valuable cooperation agreements were signed between "big guys" such as PV GAS, PV Power, BSR, Petrolimex, Masan with large American enterprises and corporations.

On March 13 (US time), within the framework of the working trip of the Vietnamese delegation led by the Prime Minister's Special Envoy - Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien in the US, many cooperation agreements in the economic and trade fields between businesses of the two countries were signed.

In the spirit of further promoting bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and the US, under the witness of Minister Nguyen Hong Dien, many important and valuable cooperation agreements were signed.

Specifically, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with Conoco Phillips and Excelerate Corporations on a number of long-term LNG purchase and sale agreements.

Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) signed a consulting contract with Kellogg Brown & Root Group (KBR) for a pre-feasibility study on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

At the same time, PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PVPower) and GE Vernova signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the procurement of GE equipment and services for gas-fired power plants developed by PVPower.

The signing of these agreements and memorandums of understanding is a testament to Vietnam's efforts to expand its import sources from the US, towards a balanced and harmonious trade balance.

Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) has signed a memorandum of understanding on ethanol supply with three leading US Ethanol suppliers, namely US Grains Council (USGC), Renewable Fuels Association (RFA), Growth Energy (GROWTH) to establish a cooperation agreement and expand bilateral trade between PETROLIMEX and the US ethanol industry; signed a memorandum of understanding with Marquis Energy to facilitate transactions and imports of biofuels. These are very meaningful cooperation agreements in the context of Vietnam accelerating the roadmap to increase the rate of biofuel use.

Meanwhile, Masan Group has signed a letter of intent with the US Development Corporation (DFC) on financial support for cooperation in deep mineral processing.

Several other cooperation agreements were also signed on this occasion.

Speaking at the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized that the economic - trade - investment pillars play a key role in promoting the overall bilateral relationship.

The signing of these agreements and memorandums of understanding is a testament to Vietnam's efforts to expand its import sources from the US, towards a balanced and harmonious trade balance.
