Schools celebrate Southern Liberation Day and National Reunification Day

NDO - In the sacred atmosphere of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), many schools in Hanoi have been decorated with flags and flowers, and organized practical activities to educate about revolutionary history, patriotism and national pride.

Going to schools in the capital these days, the atmosphere is jubilant and brilliant with the red flag with yellow star decorated everywhere, from the gate, school yard, hallway and even in each classroom.

With the spirit of "When drinking water, remember its source", schools have organized many diverse and rich activities to review together the heroic history of our ancestors.

At Doan Ket Primary School (Long Bien District, Hanoi ), an extracurricular activity, telling historical stories, and interacting with revolutionary witnesses was held, creating a heroic and intimate atmosphere.

Historical witnesses came to interact and tell students stories about the patriotism of previous generations.

These activities not only have profoundeducational value but also help students better understand the value of peace, independence and the great sacrifices of previous generations. From there, they are more proud and responsible in studying and training to be worthy of the tradition of the heroic Vietnamese nation.

During the peak emulation period to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the Doan Ket Primary School's Union launched an emulation campaign for 100% of children to compete in "Study well, practice diligently", and "Follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" for teenagers and children.

Joining the joyful and proud atmosphere of the whole country, the entire Huynh Thuc Khang High School (Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi) solemnly organized a program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The performance " The Country Stands Up" was performed by students of Huynh Thuc Khang High School.

The event took place in a solemn, warm and proud atmosphere, when teachers, students and delegates together reviewed the glorious and heroic milestones of the nation's history.

Many people were moved to tears when looking back at the images recreated by teachers and students of the arduous but heroic journey of our nation in the struggle for independence and national reunification.

Vietnamese youth are proud of and promote the traditions of their ancestors.

Mr. Nguyen Van Cong - Party Cell Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice Principal of Huynh Thuc Khang High School emphasized: “Today, we gather here - on this special sacred day of the nation - to remember, show gratitude and proudly celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Half a century has passed, but the echoes of the victory in the spring of 1975 are still imprinted in the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people. Our fathers' generation wrote golden pages of history with sweat, tears and blood.

Thanks to that noble sacrifice, today we can live in peace , study, and nurture beautiful dreams. Dear students, you are the future generation - the ones who follow and preserve the values ​​that our ancestors left behind.
