1. Ideal time to travel to Quang Binh

2.1 Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park

Location: Bo Trach district and Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province (about 50km from Dong Hoi city)

When it comes to Quang Binh tourism, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park is the most prominent name, recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage. This is a complex of more than 400 caves, with a total length of 220km, formed by three rivers flowing through: Chay River, Son River and Trooc River.

- Phong Nha Cave: The cave entrance is high and wide, inside there are underground rivers, sandbanks, reefs, and lakes. Especially the magical stalactite system and many magnificent shapes make visitors overwhelmed.

- Paradise Cave: After climbing over 500 steps, you will reach Paradise Cave. Inside the cave is a large space with countless stalactites and stalagmites. The cave is 31.4km long, among the longest dry caves in Asia.

- Hang Son Doong: This is the largest natural cave in the world with a width of 150m, a height of more than 200m, and a total length of nearly 9km. Inside the cave there are two large skylights, creating conditions for the tropical forest flora to thrive, known as the "garden of Edam".

- Tu Lan Cave: This is a system of more than 25 caves in limestone mountains, possessing giant stalactites. Groups of young people when traveling to Quang Binh often choose to come here for trekking and exploration.

- Hang En: This is the third largest cave in the world, 1.6km long, 120m high, 110m wide, the ceiling is 145m high in some places. Coming here, you can trek through the forest, wade through streams, and explore Ban Doong, home to the Bru Van Kieu people.

- Pygmy Cave: The fourth largest cave in the world, rich in flora, especially ferns.
