Officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 4 Command turn to the Cuban people

Responding to the call of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, on September 15, in Phu Quoc Special Zone (An Giang Province), the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 launched and mobilized donations to support the Cuban people, demonstrating the solidarity and traditional friendship between the two nations. Major General Nguyen Van Dung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Command of the Region chaired the launch.

After the launch, officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 4 Command donated to support the Cuban people directly at the hall, as well as through the fundraising account.

By the afternoon of September 15, the total amount of money donated by officers and soldiers was nearly 57 million VND. This amount will be transferred directly to the account of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society to send to the Cuban people.
