At this time, the Department of Government Building and Youth Work is one of the specialized departments with the largest workload, with the important task of developing a project to arrange commune-level administrative units when abolishing the district level and building a two-level local government.

Since the development of this special project, the officers and civil servants of the department have switched to working mainly in the agency's meeting room to facilitate the exchange, discussion and presentation of administrative boundary maps at the commune level of districts, towns and cities.

To ensure proactiveness and proper implementation of guidelines and principles, the project was researched and developed early and regularly updated, promptly edited and supplemented according to requirements and progress. Also to serve the construction of this project, the officers and civil servants of the Nam Sach District Home Affairs Department have worked hard to review and complete a comprehensive report on the history of formation, natural conditions, area, population, headquarters, number of officers and civil servants... of each commune and town.

After the merger from March 1, the officers and civil servants of the Nam Sach District Internal Affairs Department have both stabilized their operations and performed many important tasks.

"While making efforts to carry out special and unprecedented tasks, we still ensure that routine work is smooth and seamless. The mentality of our colleagues is somewhat affected, but we always encourage them to try their best, especially in the context that the Internal Affairs Department has just merged and is stabilizing its operations," Mr. Duy shared.

Talking about the contributions of the Home Affairs sector in streamlining the apparatus, we must mention the whole process that has passed. The beginning is probably the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the period 2023 - 2025.

At that time, Gia Loc district was one of the localities with the most communes and towns implementing the arrangement in Hai Duong province. The officers and civil servants of the Department of Internal Affairs coordinated to carry out a large amount of work.

"From naming the new commune to choosing the headquarters, everything was considered and researched based on history, culture, and suitability to reality... Thanks to the proactive, thorough and close direction of the district leaders, the proposed plan was agreed upon, supported and very favorable by the people. That is also the experience for us to do well in this period", said Mr. Vu Vinh Viet, Deputy Head of the Gia Loc District Internal Affairs Department.

Currently, along with the commune merger, Gia Loc District Internal Affairs Department is focusing on receiving, guiding, and implementing procedures to resolve the regime for people who have resigned when streamlining the apparatus. At the same time, it is carrying out other professional work and many tasks that must be accelerated when the district-level activities are about to end.

The revolution to streamline the apparatus still has many tasks to be implemented and many obstacles to be resolved with a huge amount of work. This revolution cannot be successful without the enthusiasm and great efforts of the cadres, civil servants of the internal affairs sector and the entire political system in the province.
