“Instead of spending hours designing, I can use AI to create images that match the content of the article in just a few minutes. Thanks to that, the communication efficiency is higher, and the preparation time is also significantly saved,” Mr. Phat shared.
Also with the spirit of proactive learning, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang My - Secretary of the Youth Union of Tra My town (Bac Tra My district) applied AI to create propaganda videos in a modern style.
From selecting images, creating voiceovers, editing videos - many steps are implemented quickly and conveniently thanks to the support of AI technology. Her products are not only more professional but also have a fast completion speed, suitable for the requirements of digital age communication.
“With just a phone and some software, I can create a complete video in one session. In AI applications, I find that an important part is content thinking and daring to innovate,” said My.
In Que Son district, the movement of applying AI in designing propaganda publications is also clearly flourishing.
Ms. Do Thi Linh Phuong - Secretary of Que Son District Youth Union said: “For more than a year now, we have started using AI tools to create promotional images for the activities of the union, association, and team. The designs are therefore more vivid, eye-catching, and quickly updated with modern graphic trends. The good news is that not only the District Youth Union officials but also many grassroots youth union officials, after being instructed, have confidently applied them to their daily work.”
Building a digital skills foundation
Not only stopping at typical individuals, the movement of applying AI to union work is spreading widely throughout the province. In addition to creating products faster, AI is helping union cadres at the grassroots level improve their digital capacity, promote creative thinking and professionalism in propaganda work.
These initial results were largely due to the proactive orientation and training of the Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union with many practical solutions, creating an environment for union officials to practice digital skills and improve their capacity to apply science and technology.
Through training courses and seminars, the Provincial Youth Union has introduced content on AI applications in propaganda, digital publication design, video production, content writing using artificial intelligence tools, etc.
Many districts, towns, and city youth unions then concretized this with direct instruction sessions, shared new tools, and established learning community groups on digital platforms.
Mr. Le Kim Thuong - Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union said: “We clearly identify that applying technology, especially AI, is an inevitable trend. When youth union officials know how to apply it properly, the effectiveness of propaganda work will be significantly improved. Through training courses, the Provincial Youth Union has been actively accompanying, supporting and creating an environment for grassroots officials to promote their creativity and keep up with the digital transformation trend.”
By applying AI, the propaganda work of Quang Nam Youth Union at all levels is gradually becoming more professional and effective, suitable for the information needs of young people.
However, AI cannot replace humans. By proactively approaching technology and constantly learning, the Quang Nam Youth Union staff is clearly showing that AI is a support tool - but creativity and the desire for innovation are what create different values.
