Close-up of BMW iX 2025 from 2.2 billion in Malaysia, will it come to Vietnam?
Launched globally in early 2025, the new mid-life upgraded BMW iX version has recently appeared in the Southeast Asian market, specifically Malaysia.

Accordingly, the 2025 BMW iX will be sold in two versions: xDrive45 Sport and xDrive60 M Sport Pro. The standard xDrive45 Sport version will replace the previous xDrive40, with a starting price of RM 425,800 (about VND 2.2 billion) with a 2-year warranty package or RM 460,700 with a 5-year warranty and 6-year service package. Meanwhile, the high-end xDrive60 M Sport Pro version is priced from RM 487,800 (over VND 3 billion) and up to RM 522,700 (about VND 2.2 billion) with an extended warranty package. In terms of design, the 2025 BMW iX has obvious changes in the exterior.
The front of the car impresses with new adaptive LED headlights with the characteristic vertical “four-eye” daytime running lights, inspired by the new iX2 and i4. The large kidney grille retains its closed design but now features a diagonal pattern and a standard Iconic Glow effect. The xDrive45 version is equipped with 21-inch aerodynamic wheels, while the xDrive60 version has 22-inch wheels with red brake calipers and the M Shadowline exterior package with dark taillights. The interior of the 2025 BMW iX has not changed much compared to its predecessor. The car's cabin is still designed in a modern minimalist style with a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a 14.9-inch central screen, running the latest BMW iDrive 8.5 operating system. The car has outstanding equipment including: Sky Lounge panoramic sunroof, 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, 4-zone independent air conditioning, wireless charging and interior lighting system.
The xDrive45 version uses an Atelier interior with three color options, while the xDrive60 has a premium Suite interior package or an M Sport package with M seats, a round leather steering wheel and Dark Silver trim. Powering the BMW iX xDrive45 Sport are two 4-wheel drive electric motors with a maximum capacity of 402 horsepower, 700 Nm of torque and acceleration time from 0-96 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. This BMW iX xDrive45 Sport version has a maximum range of 602 km after a full charge. The car can be fully charged in 5 hours and DC fast charging 175 kW, from 10-80% in 34 minutes.
BMW iX xDrive60 M Sport Pro has a maximum capacity of 516 horsepower with an acceleration time from 0-96 km/h of 4.4 seconds. BMW iX xDrive60 also increases the travel distance after a full battery charge to 701 km. The car takes 5 hours and 45 minutes to fully charge, For 195 kW DC fast charging, it takes 35 minutes to reach 80% Both versions are equipped with the Driving Assistant Professional package with a series of features such as: automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, traffic sign reading and Parking Assistant Plus.
