Recently, Da Nang City has approved the land auction plan for the Sports, Entertainment and Commercial Complex project in Hoa Xuan Ward, with a total capital of more than 3,500 billion VND. The land auction is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2025.

Mr. Le Quang Nam, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City, recently signed a decision approving the Plan for auctioning land use rights for public areas and urban services at the Sports, Entertainment and Commercial Complex project in Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District.

This land area has an area of ​​134,385 m2. Of which, the area of ​​public land and urban services is 101,800 m2; the area of ​​land for 3 traffic routes around the public land and urban services is 32,585 m2.

Da Nang City plans to auction this land in the second quarter of 2025.

The land is located in the North and East adjacent to the functional areas of Hoa Xuan Sports Complex, in the South adjacent to Hoa Xuan Wastewater Treatment Station, and in the West adjacent to Tran Nam Trung Street.

The land has completed site clearance and has been assigned to the Land Fund Development Center by the Da Nang City People's Committee for management.

According to Dan Viet reporter, this land is currently abandoned, overgrown with grass and trees.

Inside, nearly 300 square meters of public land that the city is auctioning to build the Hoa Xuan Sports, Entertainment and Commercial Complex was occupied by a business to build a temporary structure and gather machinery.

According to research, the temporary construction above was built by the unit that is constructing the wastewater collection pipeline project in Hoa Xuan area.

Not only is this land being occupied to set up camps and gather materials and machinery, it is also being used as a construction waste dumping ground.

It is known that the total expected investment of the project is 3,531 billion VND. The expected starting price is more than 7.9 million VND/m2, the land lease period is 50 years. The project is built on land with a construction density of less than 60%, and a construction height of 7 floors.

Participants in the land use rights auction must pay a deposit of 20% of the total value of the land plot. The winner of the land auction is responsible for investing in the construction and infrastructure connection of the 3 planned roads around the land plot to be handed over to the state for exploitation and operation.
