Unique Mediterranean style house in Phu Yen

(Dan Tri) - The design style of this project is reminiscent of the houses on the Mediterranean island of Santorini.

This unique house was built in the countryside of Phu Yen . The owner was born and raised here but grew up living in the city.

The house is their peaceful retreat during holidays or social distancing when the Covid-19 pandemic occurs.

During the summer vacation, instead of letting their children attend life skills courses, they decided to take them back to their hometown to play and experience with their peers.

This house was built with the main purpose of creating a spacious and natural play space for children.

The house has no gates or fences, creating an open feel.

The bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining room are cleverly arranged and connected through a large yard with lots of trees.

To free up the view for the interior space, the architects designed many large arched windows.

Large arched windows without glass help save construction costs while creating a sense of closeness to nature.

A large swimming pool is arranged along the land, both a playground for children and to help cool the house.

The house hardly uses air conditioning but prioritizes natural wind.

Large, light-filled garden located in the center.

The transparent roof above the garden makes the space spacious and filled with sunlight.

An interesting combination of Mediterranean-inspired design style and traditional Vietnamese red tile roofs.

Swimming pool is a place for children to play and cool off in the summer.

Private rooms are equipped with wooden doors, painted cool blue.

Interesting corner of the yard and sky of the house.

Simple bedroom furniture.

Outdoor living spaces are cleverly arranged in private rooms.

The interior is simple but sophisticated enough in the house.
