The Traffic Police Department said that at 7:30 a.m. on September 3, the Traffic Police Team of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 2, Department 6, Traffic Police Department was performing patrol and control duties on the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway when it received a request for assistance from driver Doan Van Quy (born in 1984, residing at Ly Thuong Kiet, Mong Cai Ward, Quang Ninh Province).

Mr. Quy was driving a car with license plate 14K-117.89 on the highway. His wife, Ms. Nguyen Hai Hue (born in 1988), was in labor and in a dangerous condition and needed to be taken to Tam Anh Hospital, Hanoi for emergency treatment.

At this time, it is the morning rush hour, the number of people and vehicles on the route and area of ​​Long Bien ward, Viet Hung, Hanoi city is very crowded, with many traffic jams.

After grasping the situation, the Traffic Police team reported to their superiors and used a special vehicle with priority lights and sirens to help the family take Ms. Hue to the hospital for timely emergency care, ensuring the safety of mother and baby.
