The incident happened at around 4:35 am the same day, at house 81 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Nha Trang ward.

Immediately after receiving the news by phone, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Dang, Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, directly commanded 35 officers and soldiers to urgently get on 4 specialized fire trucks, leaving the command post at Center 114 to speed to the scene.

The fire raged on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the boarding house.

At that time, the fire was raging inside the 2nd and 3rd floors of the house, with the risk of spreading quickly to adjacent apartments. The police had to use a ladder to approach the scene to spray water to put out the fire, and by 5:10 the fire was basically under control. It is worth mentioning that the police promptly rushed inside the house to rescue a girl, Tran Thi Thu Ha (born 2000, residing in Ninh Thuong 1 village, Hoa Tri commune, Khanh Hoa province) from the fire, and took her to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for emergency treatment. By 5:50 the fire was completely extinguished.

Police used ladders to access the scene to spray water to put out the fire.

It is known that the fire broke out at Le Cuong boarding house, a 4-storey building, owned by Mr. Le Nhu Cuong (born in 1980, residing at 81 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Nha Trang ward), and the girl who was rescued was the tenant.
