Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, Ba Ria - Vung Tau section will be technically open to traffic before April 30

VOV.VN - The People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that up to now, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project through the province (component 3) is being completed according to the contract schedule (September 2), expected to be technically opened to traffic before April 30, 2025.

The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project has a total investment of VND 1,627 billion, of which an increase of about VND 2,201 billion is expected, including the additional part of the My Xuan - Ngai Giao - Hoa Binh DT991 intersection. The project is implemented by 3 joint contractors: Son Hai Group Co., Ltd. - Hoa Binh 479 Joint Stock Company - 703 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company.

Starting point at Km34+200, connecting to the end point of component project 2 at the border between Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and Dong Nai province in Phuoc Binh commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province.

Contract progress is guaranteed to be on schedule as signed (September 2), expected to be technically open to traffic before April 30, 2025

The section through Phu My City has traffic.

End point at Km53+700 intersects with National Highway 56 - Ba Ria City bypass in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province

The safety corridor is basically completed, workers are implementing the lighting system construction through Phu My City.

4 overpasses are under construction of bridge decks and railings and 5 bridges are under construction of abutment bases and girder supports.

The construction package was started in June 2023 and has so far achieved about 76% of the contract value.

The construction unit is completing the bridge pier.

2/11 overpasses on the entire route have been completed, some vehicles have been in circulation.

The residential road system on both sides of the highway is also being completed on schedule.
