Carrying out and sending martyr Nguyen Thanh Chuong back to his hometown

BPO - On the morning of June 4, at Binh Long Martyrs' Cemetery, Hon Quan District, the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs - Southern Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Binh Phuoc Province coordinated with relevant agencies and units to organize a ceremony to exhume, send off, and relocate the remains of martyr Nguyen Thanh Chuong to his hometown of Can Loc, Ha Tinh.

Martyr Nguyen Thanh Chuong , rank of private, unit C8, D2, E273, KB, sacrificed on March 27, 1975 while directly participating in combat at Chon Thanh battlefield, Binh Long, was gathered by his comrades and brought to Binh Long Martyrs Cemetery, Hon Quan district.

The remains of martyr Nguyen Thanh Chuong in the arms of his comrades before being welcomed back to his hometown in Ha Tinh by his relatives.

Relatives of martyr Nguyen Thanh Chuong and members of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs - Southern Representative Office, Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs offered incense at the Binh Long Martyrs Memorial, Hon Quan District.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, the martyr's nephew, emotionally said: "The family would like to thank the uncles, veterans of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs - Southern Representative Office, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Binh Phuoc Province, and relevant agencies for helping to verify information, connect, and support the completion of necessary procedures for the family to welcome the martyr back to his hometown in Quang Loc Commune, Can Loc District, Ha Tinh Province, to facilitate the worship of the martyr, as well as the wishes of his relatives."


Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, the martyr's nephew, thanked the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs - Southern Representative Office, the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs and relevant agencies for helping the family verify and find the martyr's grave.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs - Southern Representative Office, the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs, and relevant agencies have excavated and relocated the remains of 7 martyrs, of which 2 martyrs have been gathered at martyr cemeteries in Binh Phuoc to their hometowns according to the wishes of the martyrs' relatives.
