Gasoline prices increased simultaneously from 3pm today, June 5

Prices of major fuels including RON95 gasoline, E5RON92, diesel oil, and kerosene have all increased from 3:00 p.m. today, June 5.

On June 5, based on the developments in world oil prices, fluctuations in the VND/USD exchange rate and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided to adjust retail prices of petroleum products to ensure domestic prices are consistent with world trends and encourage fuel use.

Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 19,263/liter (an increase of VND 67/liter compared to the current base price); RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND 19,698/liter (an increase of VND 133/liter compared to the current base price); 0.05S diesel is not higher than VND 17,420/liter (an increase of VND 284/liter compared to the current base price); kerosene is not higher than VND 17,284/liter (an increase of VND 176/liter compared to the current base price).

In the opposite direction, mazut oil is no higher than 16,178 VND/liter (down 86 VND/liter compared to the current base price).

Thus, since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 23 adjustments, of which RON 95 gasoline increased 12 times and decreased 11 times; diesel oil increased 11 times, decreased 11 times and remained unchanged once.

In this operating period, the management agency does not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and mazut. The adjusted selling prices of petroleum products are determined by the petroleum wholesale traders and petroleum distributors, but no later than 3:00 p.m. on June 5.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of the responsibility of ensuring the supply of gasoline to the market by gasoline traders and will strictly handle violations (if any).
