Finished pruning pine tree branches at risk of falling along Provincial Road 9

On the afternoon of November 5, Mr. Tran Ngoc Hieu - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment said that, implementing the direction of Comrade Le Huyen - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the inspection of response to storm No. 13 on the same morning, the Department of Agriculture and Environment requested the Cam Lam - Cam Ranh - Khanh Son Protective Forest Management Board to coordinate with Khanh Son Forest Protection Department and Khanh Son Commune People's Committee to implement silvicultural measures and handle pine trees at risk of falling along Provincial Road 9, from Km43 to Km45 through Son Hiep pine forest (Khanh Son commune).

Authorities cut and cleared branches of pine trees at risk of falling along Provincial Road 9 through Khanh Son commune.

Accordingly, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on November 5, the authorities checked and trimmed the branches of pine trees growing out of shape; trees with overhanging branches, dry branches, rotten branches... to prevent canopy deviation and reduce the risk of falling of leaning pine trees.

Previously, from September 8 to 10, the Cam Lam - Cam Ranh - Khanh Son Protective Forest Management Board coordinated with relevant units to handle the branches of 48 pine trees near Provincial Road 9 that were at risk of falling to ensure the safety of people and vehicles when traveling through the Son Hiep pine forest area.
