Francoise Bettencourt Meyers is a French businesswoman and member of the Bettencourt family. She is also a writer, pianist and philanthropist.
She inherited a huge fortune from her grandfather, Eugene Schueller, founder of L'Oréal, a French personal care products group. After her mother's death in September 2017, her fortune tripled thanks to investments through Tethys Invest, her family's holding company.

Alice Walton is the youngest child and heiress of Walmart - an American multinational retail company with a network of supermarkets and department stores founded by Sam Walton.
Despite her huge fortune from Walmart, Alice Walton still has a successful financial career, even founding her own investment bank. She is also the manager of Walton Enterprises, one of two family companies that control about half of the world's largest retail group, along with Walton Family Holdings Trust.

Julia Margaret Flesher Koch inherited her wealth from her late husband, David Koch, former CEO and co-owner of Koch Industries. The Wichita, Kansas, US-based conglomerate operates in oil refining, pipelines, commodities trading, livestock and pulp and paper, and has annual revenues of about $125 billion.
Ms. Koch was a member of the board of directors of the School of American Ballet and currently serves as president of the David H. Koch Foundation.

Mackenzie Scott became the world's fourth richest woman after her divorce in 2019. She was once the wife of billionaire Jeff Bezos and owns a 4% stake in Amazon, the world's largest online retailer founded by her ex-husband.
Amazon sells electronics, appliances and other products, controls the Whole Foods grocery chain and offers cloud computing and streaming services. Amazon had $469.8 billion in revenue in 2021.

Ms. Jacqueline Mars, currently living in California, USA, is the heiress of Mars company, the world's largest candy manufacturer with annual revenue of nearly 45 billion USD.
Mars is the parent company of brands such as M&M's, IAMS and Pedigree. The company was founded by her father, Frank Mars, in 1911.
6. Gina Reinhart: $30.2 billion

Gina Reinhart’s full name is Georgina Hope Rinehart. She is the chairwoman of Hancock Prospecting, a mineral exploration and mining company founded by her father. Hancock Prospecting is based in West Perth, Australia, owns the Roy Hill mine (which began production in 2015) and has investments in agricultural properties across Australia.
According to a study conducted by The Guardian Australia in May 2021, Ms. Gina Reinhart is the richest landowner in Australia.
7. Miriam Adelson: $27.5 billion

Miriam Adelson is a physician and the publisher of the Daily Israel Hayom newspaper. She is an Israeli-American.
Adelson is the majority shareholder of Las Vegas Sands, the world's largest casino operator founded by her late husband Sheldon Adelson. The Las Vegas-based company operates casino resorts and convention centers in the United States and Asia and had revenue of $4.2 billion in 2021.

Susanne Hanna Ursula Klatten is Germany's richest woman. Her fortune grew significantly after inheriting about a fifth of the shares of German luxury carmaker Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) from her father, Herbert Quandt.
Ms Klatten also has stakes in chemicals company Altana, carbon producer SGL Carbon, trust credit card maker DataCard and turbine developer Nordex.

Mrs. Fontbona is the matriarch of Chile's richest family. After her husband's death, Mrs. Iris Balbina Fontbona González became a billionaire by inheriting the Antofagasta company, one of the world's largest copper producers based in Santiago, the capital of Chile.
She currently controls Chilean banking and financial services company Banco de Chile, copper producer Madeco, Chile's largest beer producer CCE and shipping company CSAV.
10. Abigail Johnson: $21.2 billion

Ms. Johnson is the heiress to FRM, the parent company of Fidelity Investments, an American mutual fund management company. Fidelity was founded in 1946 by her grandfather, Edward C. Johnson II.
In 2014, she took over as CEO of the company from her father, Ned Johnson III. Two years later, she was elected president of Fedelity, taking full control of the company.
FMR also holds family assets including a tomato farm in Maine and much of the South Boston seaport area.
