The meeting aimed to share practical experiences in working and living in the area, in the context that the Ministry of Public Security is preparing to deploy the first officers to perform duties at the MINUSCA Mission.

Leaders and officers of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department provided specific information on the security and political situation in the Central African Republic, the activities of the MINUSCA mission, as well as the difficulties and challenges that peacekeeping forces may encounter when deployed to the mission.

The military officers also shared many practical experiences in preparing living conditions, ensuring personal security, health care and disease prevention in a special international operating environment. These are valuable experiences that help the police force be better prepared when taking on tasks in new areas, while expanding the ability to coordinate and support between the two forces within the framework of United Nations missions.
