The young man sponsors disadvantaged students and supports lonely elderly people.

Only those who have lived and experienced hardships can understand the meaning of giving and receiving. Due to difficult family circumstances, Le Che Linh had to work harder than his peers in both studying and living since childhood. In 2016, the charity class was established as a way to thank life and those who supported and accompanied Linh to overcome difficulties. Initially, the class struggled with facilities, tables and chairs, and operating costs. Later, the class was equipped with more tables and chairs, and the number of students also increased. Students coming to class are taught for free from 6-8 pm, weekdays from grades 1-12, with more than 10 volunteers participating in support.

The charity class is the starting point for various activities, projects, and models to follow in helping and supporting the disadvantaged in the fields of social security such as: visiting and giving gifts to lonely elderly people and people in difficult circumstances. In addition, connecting and awarding scholarships to poor students with good academic achievements; mobilizing and calling on benefactors to support cases of work accidents, serious illnesses, etc.

Once, Linh happened to visit Duc Quang orphanage (Binh Dai district, Ben Tre ), where there are dozens of orphans, lacking love, many of whom are suffering from terrible diseases. So, the Hieu and Thuong volunteer group, led by Linh, was born in 2017, with dozens of volunteers participating. From here, many unfortunate lives, orphans, lonely elderly people or sick people with no money for treatment are connected with kind hearts everywhere. Impressive numbers have been achieved since the group was founded, such as: nurturing 20 lonely elderly people for life in Cao Lanh city (Dong Thap); supporting gifts, cash, and necessities for more than 1,000 lonely elderly people; 1,500 children were awarded scholarships, notebooks, books, pens, and bicycles; more than 700 difficult circumstances, poor and near-poor households were given gifts on holidays and Tet. In particular, more than 60 cases of serious illness and traffic accidents were promptly treated with a total amount of more than 1 billion VND.

During the past journey, perhaps the journey to Gia Lai and Lang Tre ( Dong Nai ) were two memorable trips. Only then did Linh fully feel the difficulties and deprivation of the people, students, lonely elderly people and orphans. After the trip to support hundreds of meaningful gifts, Linh had a more comprehensive view, urging herself to make more efforts in supporting and building projects for the community. And then, the journey "Bringing knowledge to the highlands" with more than 250 sets of textbooks for all grades is being actively mobilized by Linh as well as the Hieu and Thuong group to be given to students in time for the new school year 2024.
