Pleiku Ward held the first meeting of the Steering Committee for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuoc - Provincial Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and approving the plan of the Steering Committee to organize and implement the election work, assigning tasks to members of the Steering Committee and guiding documents for implementation.

In his concluding remarks, Pleiku Ward Party Secretary Nguyen Xuan Phuoc emphasized: The election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is an important political event, demonstrating the people's mastery, contributing to building a strong socialist rule-of-law state.

He requested agencies and units to develop specific plans, implement them closely and in accordance with regulations; do a good job of consultation and voter list making, ensuring democracy, objectivity and transparency; strengthen inspection, supervision and promptly resolve complaints and denunciations related to elections.

The ward Party Secretary also requested the People's Council to coordinate with the People's Committee to soon establish organizations in charge of elections; survey facilities, and ensure favorable and safe conditions at voting areas.

The police and military forces proactively grasp the situation, ensure security and order, social safety and cyber security. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations strengthen propaganda and mobilize voters to participate, contributing to the election taking place safely, democratically, in accordance with the law, truly a festival for all people.
