Besides the achieved results, according to Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Minh Tri, the operations of the courts still have some difficulties, obstacles and limitations.
In which the crime situation, civil disputes, administrative complaints and workload increase every year but the number of staff does not match the requirements;
There are still some judgments and decisions that have been revised; some cases of evidence collection and evaluation are still incomplete.
Some civil servants have not strictly followed public discipline and have not trained to improve their political and ethical qualities, leading to being disciplined according to Party regulations and the law.
The facilities and working equipment of some units and courts do not fully meet work needs and after the reorganization and streamlining of the apparatus, the facilities are in disarray and cannot be stabilized immediately and must have a suitable investment roadmap until 2030.
In the coming time, Chief Justice Le Minh Tri emphasized that the judiciary will continue to focus on strictly implementing the National Assembly's resolutions on judicial work, ensuring that court decisions are in accordance with the law, truly bringing justice to society.
Strengthening institutional building, developing precedents, ensuring consistent application of law in adjudication.
Perform well the work of resolving and adjudicating all types of cases and incidents, ensuring that the debates at court are rigorous, convincing, and in accordance with legal regulations; improve the quality of judgments and decisions right from the first instance stage.
Immediately overcome the situation of judgments and decisions being amended or annulled many times, being declared unclearly, being difficult to enforce, and prolonging the time to resolve cases to consolidate and build the trust of the people and society in the judiciary.
