Chau Phu seeks voters' opinions on adjusting names of commune-level administrative units

On April 25, the following localities: My Duc Commune, Khanh Hoa, O Long Vi, Thanh My Tay, Dao Huu Canh, My Phu, Binh My, Binh Chanh, Binh Thuy and Vinh Thanh Trung Town (Chau Phu District) conducted a survey of voters on the adjustment of names and arrangement of commune-level administrative units.

According to the new plan, the names of commune-level administrative units after the merger include: My Duc commune (based on the merger of My Duc and Khanh Hoa communes); Vinh Thanh Trung commune (based on the merger of My Phu commune and Vinh Thanh Trung town); Binh My commune (based on the merger of Binh My, Binh Thuy and Binh Chanh communes); Thanh My Tay commune (based on the merger of Thanh My Tay, Dao Huu Canh and O Long Vi communes).

Only Cai Dau town, Binh Long commune, Binh Phu commune did not organize to collect voters' opinions because they still kept the name Chau Phu commune after rearranging according to the project.
