Chau Thanh: Women's Unions at all levels implement models following Uncle Ho's teachings

Typical examples include the Piggy Bank and Love Rice Jar models of 40 groups/1,174 members of grassroots associations participating, reaching 100%. The results included 285 scholarships, worth 114 million VND; 1,310 kg of rice and more than 26 million VND were supported for 131 disadvantaged women members; and more than 2 million VND was saved for fundraising.

The Association at all levels applied information technology in communication work, thereby designing 37 infographics and 97 propaganda videos about the emulation movement and activities of the Association.

Carrying out social security work, in the past 6 months, the Association has maintained a charity kitchen at Tu Phuoc Pagoda (Thanh Dien Commune), distributing 35,950 vegetarian meals to the poor every month; Tam Phat Charity Women's Group (An Binh Commune) has awarded 62 scholarships to poor and studious students with a total amount of more than 30 million VND, and provided monthly support to a patient undergoing dialysis with a total amount of more than 16 million VND. In addition, the Charity Women's Group has also awarded 6,205 gifts, 1 ton of vegetables, tubers, and fruits worth more than 2.5 billion VND to disadvantaged women in the area.

15/15 grassroots associations actively joined hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas with 34 practical activities such as: Hao Duoc Commune Women's Union mobilized member families to contribute to the construction of a 200m long bluestone road, worth 200 million VND; Long Vinh Commune Women's Union mobilized female members to contribute to the cost of the "Lighting up the Countryside Roads" project, installing 27 light bulbs on a 1,200m long rural road, worth 50 million VND; Hoa Thanh Commune Women's Union mobilized 15 member families to voluntarily donate ^8,000m2 of land, worth over 240 million VND to build a 2km long rural road...

Implementing the "Godmother" program, in the first 6 months of 2025, the association at all levels sponsored 17 children until the age of 18; gave 180 gifts, awarded 15 scholarships to orphans, with a total implementation resource of about 98.7 million VND.

In particular, in the past 6 months, the Women's Union at all levels in the district has approached and mobilized 16 women and girls who are victims of human trafficking to return to the Ban Mai Group.

Responding to the launch of the special emulation movement to achieve achievements in welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 12th Tay Ninh Provincial Party Congress, the Association at all levels has carried out 25 projects/tasks. The results include giving 1,176 gifts, worth nearly 470 million VND; presenting 100 national flags to member families, worth 9 million VND; providing monthly support to 6 disadvantaged women with a total amount of 9 million VND; and presenting 4 houses of Love Shelter, worth 430 million VND.
