Marathon to raise money to support flood victims in Cao Bang

TPO - On the morning of October 25, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province opened the 2025 Cao Bang Open Marathon and launched a campaign to join hands to support people affected by natural disasters.

According to the Organizing Committee's report, this year's tournament has 314 athletes from the provinces of Cao Bang , Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Lao Cai registered to compete in 2 events, men and women, with distances of 5km, 10km and 21km. The large participation of athletes from the region will help improve the professional quality of the tournament and increase competition among athletes towards achieving high results.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang province Nguyen Quoc Trung shared that the Cao Bang Marathon expanded to practically respond to the movement "All people practice sports following the example of Uncle Ho" and the Organizing Committee of the Cao Bang Marathon launched a campaign to support and mobilize delegates and athletes with the spirit of mutual love, solidarity, joining hands, contributing to support and assist people and businesses suffering damage due to floods and inundations to soon stabilize their lives and restore production and business.
