Run more passenger trains from Hanoi to Hai Duong and Hai Phong on weekends

(HNMO) - Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that to serve the needs of passengers, the unit will run additional passenger trains from Hanoi to Hai Duong and Hai Phong on weekends.

The Railway industry adds more trips from Hanoi to Hai Duong and Hai Phong on weekends.

Accordingly, train LP9 will run every Saturday, departing from Hanoi station at 7:15 a.m. and arriving at Hai Phong station at 10:07 a.m., stopping to pick up and drop off passengers at Long Bien, Gia Lam, Cam Giang, Hai Duong, Phu Thai and Thuong Ly stations.

Train HD2 runs every Sunday, departing from Hai Duong station at 4:30 p.m. and arriving at Hanoi station at 6:05 p.m.; stopping to pick up and drop off passengers at Cam Giang, Gia Lam and Long Bien stations.

Currently, on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route, the Railway industry organizes 4 pairs of trains every day. Departing from Hanoi to Hai Phong, train HP1 departs from Hanoi at 6:00 a.m. and arrives at Hai Phong station at 8:25 a.m.; train LP3 departs at 9:20 a.m. and arrives at Hai Phong at 12:00 p.m.; train LP5 departs at 3:15 p.m. and arrives at Hai Phong at 6:10 p.m.; train LP7 departs at 6:10 p.m. and arrives at 8:55 p.m.

From Hai Phong to Hanoi, there are the following trains: Train LP2 departs from Hai Phong station at 6:10, arrives at Hanoi station at 8:49; train LP6 departs at 9:10, arrives at 11:52; train LP8 departs at 15:00, arrives at 17:40; train HP2 departs at 18:40, arrives at 21:15.

Trains accept luggage and motorbikes at stations with stops, convenient for passengers to bring their own means of transportation to experience food tours and other locations.

Ticket prices on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route range from 85,000 to 135,000 VND/ticket/trip. However, if there are many passengers, the Railway industry still applies the group ticket purchase policy. Accordingly, when buying train tickets running from Monday to Thursday every week, passengers buying for a group of 8 people only need to pay for 6 tickets and get 2 free tickets; a group of 4 people only need to pay for 3 tickets.
