Chelsea lost at home to Wolves

After losing 1-4 to Liverpool in the middle of last week, Chelsea continued to suffer another defeat with 4 goals conceded, only this time Pochettino's team scored more than one goal.

Chelsea started confidently at home, the home team rushed to attack after the opening whistle and took the lead in the 18th minute. Despite Wolves having less possession, the visitors were better at building up their attacks than the hosts in the first half. Trailing after the first half, Chelsea entered the second half determined to find an equalizer. However, the home team could not maintain the attacking pressure. In the 63rd minute, Neto broke through strongly on the right and then passed the ball back to Cunha to score, raising the score to 3-1.

In the 80th minute, Gusto was unable to stop Cunha from breaking into the penalty area and committed a foul, resulting in a penalty kick for Chelsea. Cunha successfully converted the penalty to increase the score to 4-1 and help the away team reach the victory.

Chelsea's efforts in the remaining minutes only brought the home team a second goal. Silva headed in after a corner to reduce the score to 2-4. However, Chelsea only scored two goals against Wolves and bitterly suffered a second consecutive defeat in the Premier League.

After 23 matches, Chelsea only has 31 points, Pochettino and his team were surpassed by Wolves to take 10th place, pushing Chelsea down to 11th place on the rankings.
