Beautiful sister Ngoc Anh, musician Duong Truong Giang sit in the 'hot seat'

The 2025 Global Vietnamese Singing Show has just announced its third season, revealing many exciting new features and a panel of famous judges. This is an annual music playground for Vietnamese people around the world, aiming to discover and honor passionate voices with artistic potential.

One of the notable changes in the 2025 season is that the competition will shift its focus entirely to Vietnam, no longer exploiting contestants from Europe like the previous two seasons.

Instead, the winners will have the opportunity to participate in tours in Europe, performing for the overseas Vietnamese community – both as a cultural promotion activity and as a practical training environment.

In addition to veteran names such as Y Lan, Manh Dinh and Luu Thien Huong, the judging panel also includes singer Ngoc Anh – the queen of powerful rock music. Singers and musicians participating in the coaching panel include Sy Luan, Giang Hong Ngoc, Duong Truong Giang… who will accompany and support the contestants in developing their musical personalities throughout the competition.

According to the organizers, the contest aims to honor individuals who have the ability to convey and bring Vietnamese identity to the world through their voices. This year’s season will strongly apply technology and digital media.

Interactive activities, livestreams, behind-the-scenes videos , contestant diaries... will be updated on platforms such as Facebook Reels and TikTok to reach young audiences, while increasing transparency and fairness in the scoring process.

The competition consists of 4 rounds: Preliminary, Semi-final, Final and Final ranking. From thousands of entries, 80 excellent candidates will be selected for the Final round taking place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Each category will have one Champion and two Runners-up. In addition, subsidiary awards such as Most Popular Contestant, Promising Contestant, Impressive Performance Contestant and National Identity Honor Award will also be given to encourage diversity in performance styles.

The Final Ranking Night will be held at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, Hanoi on October 18, 2025.
