Detailed list of 168 wards and communes of the new Ho Chi Minh City after the merger

(Dan Tri) - The plan to merge Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau into a new Ho Chi Minh City has been announced. The three provinces and cities above also have plans to reorganize commune-level administrative units.

It is expected that after the merger, the new Ho Chi Minh City will have 168 commune-level administrative units. Specifically, the current Ho Chi Minh City area will be reorganized into 102 commune-level units; Binh Duong area will be organized into 36 wards and communes; and Ba Ria - Vung Tau area will be organized into 30 commune-level administrative units.
