The human-shaped nail that exorcised evil spirits has caused a stir in the archaeological world.

A unique artifact has intrigued many experts: a nail used as a talisman, stuck into the floor to ward off evil spirits – revealing an ancient, mysterious spiritual custom.

Specifically, during the excavation of the remains of a structure with a plastered floor at Tatarlı Mound, Tatarlı Quarter, Ceyhan District of Adana, Türkiye, experts from Çukurova University unexpectedly found many mysterious artifacts. Photo: @Çukurova University.
