Official opening of the Bac City Colors Festival

(HTV) - The program "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" officially opened at 7:30 p.m. on April 19, opening with a series of unique art activities, vivid 3D mapping technology performances, brilliant fireworks displays and many other exciting experiences.

As part of a series of cultural and artistic activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, the program "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" is an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City to proudly introduce to domestic and international friends a dynamic, creative, and unique megacity - a place where national spirit and aspirations for the future converge.

The 3D mapping performance combined lighting, music and effects to create unforgettable moments in the hearts of the audience.

People sat for a long time before the opening ceremony several hours to see the 3D mapping of Vietnam.

Opening the program "Lights of Uncle Ho's City" is a 3D Mapping performance combining music, lights and stage effects, bringing sublime moments, marking a strong impression for the opening night of the program "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" at the central stage in front of the City People's Committee. Also participating in the performance are art teams from the French Republic, the Kingdom of Belgium, Singapore and Vietnam.

Not inferior to the attractive performance of the other team, the Vietnamese team Vietsoftpro brought a performance with the theme Vietnam in me, introducing the beauty of the country, Vietnamese people and the important historical milestones of the country.

Vietnam's 3D Mapping presentation does not use characters or narrative, but only uses artistic images to let viewers feel in their own unique way.

The highlight of the performance was the appearance of the Lac bird symbol, the descendants of the dragon and the fairy, recreating three typical declarations: Nam Quoc Son Ha by Ly Thuong Kiet, Binh Ngo Dai Cao by Nguyen Trai; and the Declaration of Independence by President Ho Chi Minh .

The evening of April 26th opened with the work “Urban Pulse” from Hexogon Solutions (Singapore), bringing a modern and vibrant perspective on the pace of life in Ho Chi Minh City.

On the night of April 29, the artist group DirtyMonitor (Belgium) introduced the theme “Commercial Heritage and Global Connection”, honoring the role of Ho Chi Minh City in the journey of international integration.

Closing on the evening of April 30, AC3 Studio (France) brought the work "Vietnam - France: A perspective", as a subtle and profound greeting, connecting the cultures of the two countries through visual art.

Entertainment activities attract many people and foreigners to participate in the program "Light of Uncle Ho's City"

In addition to the light shows, Nguyen Hue walking street also becomes vibrant with a series of unique art and entertainment activities from folk music and dance performances, traditional theater, sports performances to colorful street entertainment. All blend together to create a bustling, lively "artistic feast" in the heart of the city.

The brilliant fireworks display in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City officially ended the opening ceremony in a vibrant and emotional atmosphere. The fireworks were continuously launched from the city center, creating an impressive visual highlight, attracting the attention of thousands of residents and tourists.

Not only a part of the art program, fireworks also symbolize independence, freedom and happiness - sacred values ​​associated with the day of national reunification.

From early evening, thousands of people and tourists gathered at Nguyen Hue walking street and neighboring streets. The festive atmosphere made the central area of ​​Ho Chi Minh City bustling and crowded. Many families and groups of young people arrived early to choose a convenient location, ready to participate and fully enjoy the activities on the opening night.

The bright moment in the sky also marked the beginning of a series of cultural and entertainment activities lasting many days in the Nguyen Hue walking street area and neighboring locations.

In addition to the opening night on April 19, 2025, on the nights of April 26, 2025 and April 29, 2025, the series of cultural, sports and technology activities with the theme "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" promises to continue to explode with performances of Trumpet Music, Cavalry Parade, community art and especially the light show by drone technology expected to set a world record with 10,500 drones.
