The opening of a dedicated road aims to improve the capacity and efficiency of customs clearance through the Huu Nghi-Huu Nghi Quan international border gate pair; meeting the increasing trade needs of Vietnamese-Chinese traders.

On May 27, the official announcement ceremony of the opening of the dedicated freight transport route in the area of landmarks 1088/3-1089, the Tan Thanh (Vietnam)-Po Chai (China) customs clearance area in the area of landmarks 1090-1091; the Coc Nam (Vietnam)-Lung Nghi (China) customs clearance area in the area of landmarks 1104-1105 of the Huu Nghi (Vietnam)-Huu Nghi Quan (China) international border gate took place in the area of landmarks 1090-1091, the Tan Thanh (Vietnam)-Po Chai (China) customs clearance area.

This is an important economic event, creating favorable conditions for tourism and trade development; improving capacity and efficiency of customs clearance through the Huu Nghi-Huu Nghi Quan international border gate pair; meeting the increasing trade needs of traders from Vietnam and China.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province Duong Xuan Huyen said that Lang Son highly appreciated the active and comprehensive cooperation efforts between the two provinces and regions in the past time and thanked the leaders of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for always supporting and promoting coordination with Lang Son province to successfully organize this event.

In the coming time, to further promote the role of the largest land border gate between Vietnam and China of the Huu Nghi-Huu Nghi Quan international border gate pair, creating a favorable premise for effectively implementing the smart border gate model on the dedicated road for transporting goods in the area of landmarks 1119-1120, 1088/2-1089 of the Huu Nghi-Huu Nghi Quan international border gate, the Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province hopes that the two sides will continue to coordinate closely, increase exchanges, and report to competent authorities for approval so that the customs clearance routes and dedicated roads for transporting goods in the Huu Nghi-Huu Nghi Quan international border gate pair can fully enjoy the nature and functions of an international border gate.

Along with that, agreeing on solutions to improve customs clearance convenience and delivery methods suitable to the conditions and needs of both sides. The Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province believes that, with the consensus and close cooperation of the two provinces and regions, the position and role of the Huu Nghi-Huu Nghi Quan border gate pair in the ASEAN-China free trade area will be increasingly enhanced and strongly developed.

Mr. Miao Qingwang, Vice Chairman of the People 's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, said that in recent times, the friendly and cooperative neighborly relationship between Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China and Lang Son province has been increasingly consolidated, developed comprehensively and in depth. This is demonstrated by the fact that the two sides have actively exchanged and agreed to officially put into operation the Huu Nghi-Huu Nghi Quan international border gate extending to Tan Thanh-Po Chai and Coc Nam-Lung Nghiu openings. This is truly an important economic event for both sides.

At the program, the functional forces of both sides carried out immigration procedures for citizens of the two countries at the Tan Thanh (Vietnam) - Po Chai (China) customs clearance./.
