Cho Myung-Woo won the 76th World Individual 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Championship

BTO- On the afternoon of September 29, in Phan Thiet city, the 76th World Individual 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Championship took place with a dramatic and exciting final match between two players Cho Myung-Woo (Korea, ranked 5th in the world) and Tran Thanh Luc (Vietnam, ranked 21st in the world). Fans witnessed a spectacular and classy match.

As expected by the audience, the person dubbed the "prodigy" of Billiards Cho Myung-Woo had a good start and maintained his form throughout the match with confident, steady strokes. The final match officially ended with a series of 11 points in the 20th round of Cho Myung-woo. This player overwhelmingly won Tran Thanh Luc with a score of 50-23, officially winning the championship convincingly. Despite having made breakthroughs, bringing fans beautiful and emotional strokes, the Vietnamese representative still could not shorten the gap.

Cho Myung-Woo received the prize for this year's champion of 40,000 Euros. Second place with a prize of 20,000 Euros went to player Tran Thanh Luc. Players Eddy Merckx (Belgium) and Dick Jaspers (Netherlands) tied for third place, each receiving a prize of 12,000 Euros.

After 5 days of exciting competition, the World 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Individual Championship has officially ended. The tournament was jointly organized by the World Carom Billiards Federation, the Vietnam Billiards & Snooker Federation and Binh Thuan province, attracting 48 of the world's top players from 26 countries: Korea, Japan, Turkey, Belgium, Spain... Vietnam alone had 7 players participating in the competition.

According to the Organizing Committee, the World Individual 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Championship has high professional quality, attracting many high-class athletes to participate. The athletes have dedicated to the audience attractive, fierce but no less artistic matches of 3-Cushion Carom Billiards.

This is the first time the World Individual 3-Cushion Billiards Championship has chosen Vietnam and Binh Thuan province as the first destination to host it. The tournament is not only a playground for top billiards talents but also an opportunity for fans to enjoy beautiful and artistic cues in the billiards world.
