Female principal fired for stealing things at Bach Hoa Xanh

On May 16, the Departmentof Education and Training of Vung Liem district, Vinh Long province, informed that it had reported on the handling of violations against Ms. H, the principal of a kindergarten in the area.

Previously, at the end of December 2024, the Department of Education and Training of Vung Liem district received 2 photos of Ms. H. holding a cardboard record with the content: "... arrested at Bach Hoa Xanh Vung Liem" and 1 photo of items from this store and a white handbag.

After that, Ms. H. made a report, saying that because she was suffering from paranoia, work pressure, and could not control her emotions, she did not think and took a box of dried plums and a box of chestnuts and put them in her personal basket and was discovered by Bach Hoa Xanh staff. Ms. H. admitted that she did wrong and did not report the incident to her family.

On January 23, 2025, the kindergarten's Party cell issued a report criticizing a Party member for stealing from the Bach Hoa Xanh store. This behavior created negative public opinion about the management officer, affecting the reputation of Ms. H. and the education sector.

The minutes stated the consensus on reviewing and drawing lessons for Ms. H. Because Bach Hoa Xanh store did not request to handle the violation and the value of the stolen items was very small, it did not reach the level of disciplinary action against Ms. H.

Ms. H. also submitted a resignation letter from the position of principal. The Department of Education and Training of Vung Liem district agreed with the form of review and experience drawing of the school's Party cell.

The Department of Education and Training of Vung Liem district agreed with Ms. H.'s application to resign from the position of principal and consulted with the District People's Committee to carry out the procedure for resigning from the position, assigning the new principal appropriate work.
