Giving opinions on preparing and organizing the first Congress of Party Committees of Quang Tri Province Party agencies

The Congress of Party Committees of Quang Tri province is expected to be held from August 5-6, 2025, with about 168 delegates attending.

According to the plan, party organizations under the Party Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party agencies will carry out preparations and complete the congress before June 30, 2025.

Before that, the Quang Tri Newspaper and Radio - Television Party Committee will be established on the basis of merging the Quang Tri Newspaper Party Cell and the Quang Tri Radio - Television Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Quang Tri province plans to work with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Quang Binh province on the preparations for merging and establishing the new Party Committee of the Party agencies of Quang Tri province.

The conference basically reached a high consensus on the structure and content of the draft political report, the expected structure of the allocation of delegates to the first Congress of the Party Committees of the Party agencies of Quang Tri province; at the same time, analyzed and clarified the key targets, tasks and breakthroughs of the term in accordance with the practical situation in the context of implementing the arrangement of the political system apparatus and merging the two provinces of Quang Tri and Quang Binh into the new Quang Tri province.

Accordingly, many issues arise when organizing party congresses at all levels, while simultaneously arranging the organizational structure of the political system, and implementing the policy of merging provinces in parallel...

Concluding the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Agencies Phan Van Phung agreed that the grassroots party organizations under the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee of Party Agencies will hold the congress according to Directive No. 45-CT/TW, dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo "On Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party", to be completed before June 30, 2025; in the spirit of both organizing Party Congresses at all levels and arranging the organizational apparatus, including implementing the policy of merging Quang Tri Newspaper and Quang Tri Radio and Television Station.

It is agreed that there should be a deeper and more specific assessment of the functions, tasks and roles of the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies; closely following the draft political report of the province to supplement and propose reasonable tasks and solutions for the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies in the context of the newly established agency and continuing to implement the policy of merging agencies in the political apparatus of the two provinces of Quang Tri and Quang Binh into the new Quang Tri province.

Regarding the allocation of delegates to the Congress of Party Committees of Quang Tri Province Party agencies, it is recommended that the Party Committee's advisory agencies base on the number of Party members and the characteristics of each Party Committee and Party cell to allocate delegates to the congress appropriately.
