He strictly manages officers and soldiers under his command to prevent violations of discipline and law. He actively coordinates with functional forces to effectively patrol and protect the border and border markers, maintain territorial sovereignty and national border security, and prevent violations of regulations in the land border area.
Through that, he discovered, arrested and handled many cases of smuggling, illegal transportation of goods, illegal immigration... The area he was in charge of often suffered from floods, so he proactively arranged forces to block people and vehicles from passing through during the time when the roads were flooded by storms and rains, ensuring the safety of people and vehicles; and was ready to mobilize to the grassroots to help people overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

For the cause of educating people in difficult areas
“I was born and raised in Ta Rut commune, Dakrong district. Children here are disadvantaged in many aspects, especially in learning conditions. As a Pa Ko teacher, understanding the difficulties and deprivation of ethnic minority students that I have experienced, I always keep in mind that I will do my best in teaching and learning to contribute to improving the quality of education, especially in ethnic minority areas with many difficulties,” said teacher Ho Thi Minh Hau, a teacher at Ta Rut Primary School, Dakrong district.

Graduated from Hue University of Education in 2014, with the desire to work in her hometown, teacher Hau applied for a contract teaching job at A Bung Primary School, Dakrong District. 4 years of contract, low salary, quite difficult life but with love for the job always urged her to try her best for the education of students in disadvantaged areas.
With perseverance, love for the profession and affection for students, she innovates teaching methods, arousing students' interest in learning; she closely monitors, discovers and helps students develop their abilities and strengths in learning.
Therefore, her class always maintains a good number of students. In December 2018, she was assigned to teach at Ta Rut Primary School. During her teaching career, she always wondered how to help students access knowledge in the easiest way, how to spread good values, the spirit of overcoming difficulties and belief in education to colleagues and students. Most of the students are ethnic minority children, many of whom are not fluent in Mandarin, so learning lessons is difficult.
Many children also have to help their families with farming, so their schooling is sometimes interrupted, which greatly hinders their ability to go to school. In this situation, teacher Hau actively promotes the importance of their children's education; encourages students to go to school, integrates, explains, and interprets for students to understand Kinh language to help them absorb lessons better.
She always tries to be creative in her teaching methods, integrates local culture into her lectures, and organizes extracurricular activities that are suitable for real-life conditions. Feeling sorry for the students in her hometown who still lack material things, teacher Hau actively works with her colleagues to call for organizations and individuals to support clothes, shoes, books, etc. to help the students go to school.
With her continuous efforts at work, for many consecutive years, teacher Hau has achieved the title of advanced worker and excellent teacher at the district level. In the 2023-2024 school year alone, she was awarded the title of grassroots emulation fighter; a certificate of merit from the Dakrong District Education Promotion Association; and a certificate of merit from the Executive Committee of the Ta Rut Commune Education Promotion Association.

Through the union's programs on promoting emulation in production and business, being proactive and creative to establish a career, Ho Van Cao actively took the lead in exploring and researching models in areas with similar conditions, proactively learning about scientific and technical knowledge of cultivation and animal husbandry; borrowing capital through the youth union's credit to proactively source initial capital to start building a comprehensive economic model.
On the basis of old, low-yield crop areas, he renovated and planned to grow catimo coffee, cajuput and dig fish ponds. All stages from land preparation, seed selection, sowing, and fertilization were carefully researched and implemented by him. Currently, his model includes: 3 fish ponds of more than 8 sao with over 1,500 fish of various types. For fish feed, he utilizes available grass in the hill garden and powder ground from other agricultural foods.
More than 1.5 hectares of cajuput trees, nearly 5 years old, have begun to yield. More than 2 sao of coffee trees are growing well, giving quite high yields, with an average of over 2 tons of fresh fruit per crop. On old coffee areas and some that are still abandoned, he has switched to growing jackfruit coffee, ginger and cassava, with an average harvest of 4 tons of fresh roots per crop. The average total income of this model is over 200 million VND per year.
“From the initial results in building a comprehensive economic model, my family continues to maintain and improve efficiency to have a basis for expanding the model. Currently, we have completed the land preparation stage to prepare to plant more than 1.5 quintals of ginger and plant 1.5 hectares of new jackfruit coffee. In addition, on the family's fish pond areas, we have deployed the construction of huts in the middle of the fish pond to pilot the fishing experience service,” said Mr. Cao.
