ANTD.VN - According to the conclusion of the inspection team of the Ministry of Construction, the new urban area of Southwest Viet Tri City - Palm Manor project has an approved land area that is more than 2 hectares different from the actual land area of the project.
Immediately after the Ministry of Construction issued a notice of the results of the inspection of State management in the field of housing management and real estate business in Phu Tho and was widely reported by the press, Global Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company (GP. Invest) issued a press release about this.
According to the conclusion of the inspection team of the Ministry of Construction, the approved land area of the new urban area of Southwest Viet Tri City is more than 2 hectares different from the actual land area of the project. The name of the project investor approved by the People's Committee of Phu Tho province in Decision 523 in 2013 is Toan Cau Petroleum Investment Joint Stock Company, but later in Decisions No. 117 and 3151 of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, the name of the project investor is Toan Cau Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company.
The Palm Manor project was launched by Global Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company at the end of July 2024, and is being advertised for sale in the third phase by some brokerage units, but in the report sent to the inspection team of the Ministry of Construction, the investor affirmed that it has not yet conducted real estate business transactions, including real estate formed in the future.

Meanwhile, in the announcement issued by GP. Invest in response to information related to the announcement of the Ministry of Construction on "the results of the inspection of State management in the field of housing management and real estate business in Phu Tho province", it is stated that the inspection activities and State management in the field of housing management and real estate business in Phu Tho by the Ministry of Construction were conducted from December 4, 2023 to December 8, 2023. Therefore, the inspection results announced on October 31, 2024 of the announcement of the Ministry of Construction reflect the contents at the time of inspection in December 2023.
Regarding the project scale and investor name, GP. Invest said that the Palm Manor project was approved by the People's Committee of Phu Tho province on February 28, 2013 with a land use scale of 58.5 hectares (according to the announcement of the Ministry of Construction, it is "actual project scale") and the investor is Global Petroleum Investment Joint Stock Company - the name of Global Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company in 2013.
On August 19, 2015, Global Petroleum Investment Joint Stock Company changed its name to Global Real Estate Joint Stock Company (GP. Invest), without changing the business registration number.
According to the decision dated October 30, 2023 of Phu Tho province, the detailed planning scale of 1/500: the approved land area for investment is 56.4 hectares. Based on that, GP. Invest has been implementing the project in accordance with the approved planning and decision.
Regarding real estate business activities at the project, as of December 2023, GP.Invest's report sent to Phu Tho Department of Construction confirmed that the Palm Manor project had not yet conducted any real estate business transactions.
By April 4, 2024, the investor had received a written notice from the Phu Tho Department of Construction regarding eligibility to sell future housing.
In a quick phone call with An ninh Thu do reporter, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hiep, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of GP. Invest, said that the Department of Housing and Real Estate Market Management, Ministry of Construction, is expected to issue a document correcting information about the Palm Manor project because the inspection took place in December 2023 but the conclusion was issued on October 31, 2024, so there was no update.
