President Luong Cuong pays State visit to Lao PDR

On April 24, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong led a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to pay a state visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR), at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao PDR Thongloun Sisoulith.

Accompanying President Luong Cuong were Politburo members: Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security.

The delegation included comrade Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; and comrades of the Party Central Committee: Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Nguyen Thi Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly; Le Khanh Hai, Head of the Office of the President ; Nguyen Van Hung, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Tam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Laos joined the delegation.
