National Assembly Chairman: National solidarity is a precious tradition

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that national solidarity is a precious tradition of Vietnam. The Party and State always consider national solidarity a strategic policy.

On November 11, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and his delegation attended the National Great Unity Day with the people of residential area No. 10 (Hoa Hiep Bac ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city).

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue visited the exhibition booths of residential area No. 10 and talked with people at the great solidarity festival.

Residential area No. 10, Hoa Hiep Bac ward consists of 2 residential groups with 234 households and 886 people. The residential area is effectively implementing many movements such as "All people protect national security". Mobilizing households to register and commit to implementing the model "Family without crime".

In 2023, the residential area will pilot the model of "Traffic safety for every home". At the same time, organize propaganda on fire prevention and fighting. Currently, the residential area has 1 inter-group fire alarm point, 100% of households have fire extinguishers. With the results achieved, the residential area is honored to receive many certificates of merit from the city and district.

Residents of residential area No. 10 were delighted to welcome National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to attend the Great Solidarity Festival; at the same time, they thanked the Party and State leaders for investing in the construction of the Lien Chieu Port project in Lien Chieu district, as well as wanting to support people in changing their professions and creating jobs when the port is built.

National Assembly Chairman presents gifts to residential area number 10

According to the National Assembly Chairman, after more than 37 years of renovation and 20 years of organizing the National Great Unity Day, Vietnam has achieved comprehensive and historic achievements and results, as General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said, "Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as it does today."

The National Assembly Chairman cited that Vietnam's economic scale has reached the top 38 in the world. Our country's foreign trade ranks 20th in the world and is considered by the world to be one of the 20 most successful countries in attracting foreign investment. The country has more than 37,000 foreign investment projects from 143 countries and territories, with registered capital of up to 450 billion USD...

“Without the widespread participation of the people, without the strength of national unity, combined with the strength of the times, we probably would not have achieved such victories and miracles,” Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized.

Lien Chieu Port creates a solid tripod for Da Nang

After listening to the reports and opinions of the people, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his joy to see that the cadres and people of residential area No. 10 have promoted the good tradition, spirit of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance to achieve many achievements.

The National Assembly Chairman highly appreciated and thanked the residents of residential area No. 10 as well as the people of Hoa Hiep Bac ward for always agreeing and accompanying the city in implementing the Party and State's policies in implementing the Lien Chieu Port project.

According to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, Lien Chieu Port is planned to be a deep-water port, initially a type 1 port, and later a special port, with a very important position. According to capacity calculations, by 2045, this port can handle more than 100 million tons of customs clearance goods/year. The development of the port will make the economic "tripod" of Da Nang City more and more sustainable and balanced, which is the logistics, industrial and service economy.

From there, the National Assembly Chairman hopes that the people of Hoa Hiep Bac ward and residential area No. 10 will continue to support and accompany the city to remove arising difficulties, creating favorable conditions for the project to continue to be implemented to ensure the set progress.

“During the construction process, it is inevitable that there will be problems and difficulties that will more or less affect the lives of the people and the landscape environment at first. But if we want to develop, we must have this step.

In the future, this area will become a port urban area, with a port authority, and will be very developed. If we can attract more "eagle" investors here, it will certainly be a long-term driving force for Da Nang in the near future. We really hope that the people will share, support, and help the city in implementing this especially important project," Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue shared.

The National Assembly Chairman also requested that Da Nang City continue to pay attention to the people's thoughts and aspirations, and properly implement policies to provide support to disadvantaged households, especially those who have to relocate to make way for the construction of Lien Chieu Port.
