National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man welcomed Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev and the Kyrgyz Government delegation on an official visit to Vietnam; highly appreciated the results of the talks between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev; the two sides signed documents creating a framework for promoting comprehensive and effective bilateral cooperation; and believed that the visit would create new momentum for the traditional friendship and multifaceted, mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

The National Assembly Chairman expressed his delight at the results that Kyrgyzstan has achieved in recent times in maintaining political stability, developing socio-economy, enhancing the role of Kyrgyzstan in the region and the world; and thanked the people of the former Soviet Union, including the people of Kyrgyzstan, for their great support for the cause of national liberation and national construction of the Vietnamese people. The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that Vietnam attaches importance to the traditional friendship with Kyrgyzstan, highly values ​​Kyrgyzstan's role in the Central Asian region, and wishes to open new directions for bilateral cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.

In that spirit, the Vietnamese National Assembly will, together with the Kyrgyz National Assembly, continue to actively contribute to the cooperative relationship between the two countries, supporting the efforts of the two governments and ministries and sectors in improving efficiency. Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the two countries still have much potential, room and complementary advantages to improve the effectiveness of economic cooperation; suggested that the two sides promote cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, transportation, education, culture, etc., bringing the relationship into depth and efficiency.

Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed his gratitude for the warm and friendly reception that the National Assembly Chairman as well as the leaders and people of Vietnam gave to the Prime Minister and the Kyrgyz delegation; congratulated Vietnam on its socio-economic development achievements; affirmed the importance and desire to work with Vietnam to bring bilateral cooperation to new heights.

Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that Vietnam is a long-standing and important traditional friendly partner of Kyrgyzstan in Southeast Asia; wishes to strengthen the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation for mutual benefit with Vietnam and through Vietnam to strengthen relations with ASEAN and Southeast Asian countries, and is ready to act as a bridge between Vietnam and Central Asian countries.

The two sides agreed that in the coming time, the two countries' National Assemblies will continue to closely coordinate and support each other at multilateral parliamentary forums, such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian Parliaments (MSEAP); exchange and support each other's stances on regional and international issues of mutual concern; increase exchanges of high-level delegations, committee delegations, and friendship parliamentary groups; send delegations to attend multilateral parliamentary activities held in each country and develop joint initiatives at these forums.

On this occasion, the National Assembly Chairman expressed his gratitude to the Kyrgyz Government for creating conditions for the Vietnamese community to stabilize their lives, integrate into the local community and thereby contribute to the socio-economic development of the two countries and the Vietnam-Kyrgyzstan relationship.
