This is the second time the Vietnamese Embassy has participated in this event and the third time hosting and participating in a film screening in Bahrain. This activity is also part of the framework of introducing and promoting Vietnamese culture in Bahrain in the context of the two countries celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (1995-2025).
Taking place from May 17-22, FrancoFilm aims to highlight the diversity of cinematic creativity in the Francophone world with the participation of Egypt, Armenia, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Canada, France, Lebanon, Morocco, Romania, Cyprus, Switzerland, Tunisia, and Vietnam.

The film screening attracted the attention of the local public, diplomatic corps and foreigners living and working in Bahrain.
In discussions after the screening, many viewers expressed their emotions at the daily stories of a traditional Vietnamese family, which were professionally created by the filmmakers with valuable and delicate details that highlighted the good values of family, love, filial piety and kindness among members of the community. The film also introduced the landscapes and customs of many regions of Vietnam, helping them understand more about the beautiful country and the kind-hearted Vietnamese people.
