At the Embassy, ​​the Memorial Ceremony for Comrade Tran Duc Luong was solemnly held with the participation of all officials and staff of the Embassy and neighboring agencies, representatives of overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese students in the capital Canberra.

After a solemn moment of silence, Ambassador Pham Hung Tam was moved to recall the great contributions of comrade Tran Duc Luong to the cause of national defense and construction, with special marks being two important summits including the Francophonie Summit 1997 and the Asia-Europe Summit (ASEM) 2004.
