According to the report of Cao Loc District People's Committee, implementing the resolutions of the Provincial People's Council, the decision of the Provincial People's Committee on assigning socio-economic development plan targets for 2025 and state budget estimates for 2025, Cao Loc District People's Committee has assigned targets and budget estimates to units for implementation.
Cao Loc District People's Committee has also adjusted the growth targets for some of the district's key economic sectors. In particular, the district has set specific targets for each sector such as: total state budget revenue in the area reaching over 549 billion VND, an increase of 10.01% compared to the estimate assigned by the province; local import-export turnover increasing by an average of 5.9%; average gross domestic product per capita in the area reaching from 69 - 70 million VND; the number of tourists reaching 1.2 million, revenue reaching over 281 billion VND...
As a result, in the first quarter of 2025, agricultural and forestry production, industrial production, trade, services and tourism in the area were deployed to ensure the set progress; total budget revenue reached over 131.6 billion VND, equal to 26.35% of the estimate and increased by 17.79% over the same period last year; disbursed public investment capital was 26.6 billion VND, reaching 18.13% of the plan.
For the implementation of 3 national target programs, investors in the area have disbursed 19.5 billion VND, reaching 13.2% of the assigned capital plan. At the same time, tasks such as: site clearance; planning and construction management; administrative reform... are implemented by units closely following the plan. The fields of culture, society, security and national defense are ensured.
Discussing at the inspection session, representatives of departments and branches requested the People's Committee of Cao Loc district to clarify and continue to pay attention to directing the implementation of a number of contents such as: site clearance for projects, especially key projects; speeding up the implementation of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; proactively managing public assets and documents after arranging and merging administrative units; accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital; continuing to maintain and improve the quality of achieved new rural criteria; proactively preventing and fighting forest fires...
Concluding the inspection session, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the outstanding results that Cao Loc district achieved in the first quarter of 2025.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Cao Loc District People's Committee to continue to do a good job of propaganda to create consensus among cadres, party members and people in implementing the arrangement of administrative units. In particular, it is necessary to have a plan to manage assets, documents and protect state secrets during the arrangement process; select and arrange the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees at the commune level in the direction of "lean, compact, strong"; prepare all conditions well for the Party Congresses at all levels; review, calculate and allocate socio-economic development targets in accordance with the common development goals of the province and the whole country in 2025; promote the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area...
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Cao Loc District People's Committee to resolutely clear the land for projects, speed up the construction of infrastructure for resettlement areas, especially for key projects. At the same time, actively disburse public investment capital, ensuring that by the end of June 2025, the rate will reach over 50%.
Previously, the inspection team of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of traffic works and visited the Bao Lam rose growing model according to VietGAP standards in Hoa Cu commune, Cao Loc district.
