Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Health ; Provincial Police; Department of Industry and Trade; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Provincial Steering Committee against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods (Provincial Steering Committee 389) to strengthen inspection and examination of cosmetic production and business activities; focusing on products of unknown origin, not declared according to regulations, cosmetics with false advertising, improper labeling; online business activities. In particular, regularly conduct post-inspection of cosmetic products in circulation on the market through sampling and testing, strictly handle violations; recall and destroy all types of cosmetics suspected of being fake, of unknown origin, of poor quality, and unsafe for consumers.
The Department of Health proactively coordinates closely with the Provincial Police, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Regional Customs Department XIII, the Regional Tax Department XIII, the Provincial Steering Committee 389 and related agencies, units and localities to promptly detect and prevent acts of production, storage and trade of fake and substandard cosmetics; strictly handle organizations and individuals who violate the law; review the regulations of the Central and the province on the production and trade of cosmetics to propose to competent authorities to amend and supplement if necessary, and report to the Provincial People's Committee before June 15.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to promote communication and dissemination of laws on cosmetics management to the community, businesses and consumers to raise awareness, vigilance and denounce violations.
