At the meeting, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan praised the spirit and efforts of the players during the intense competition period in the V-League, and acknowledged the professionalism of the entire team in maintaining stable physical strength and form to quickly integrate with the Vietnam national team. VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan also congratulated striker Nguyen Xuan Son for his complete recovery after a long period of injury treatment and his readiness to return to contribute to the national team.
VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized that the team needs to maintain the highest concentration and determination in the remaining matches of the qualifying round, holding on to the opportunity until the end in the race for a ticket to the 2027 Asian Cup Finals.
On this occasion, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan also reviewed the proud results of Vietnamese football in 2025, when 5 national teams won the right to participate in the Asian finals including: National women's team, National U.23 team, National futsal team, Women's U.20 team and National U.17 women's team. In addition, Vietnam U.17 is currently being given training conditions in Japan, aiming to become the sixth team to participate in the continental playground.

From these positive achievements, the VFF President expressed his belief that the Vietnamese national team will continue to affirm its position in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, first of all in the away match against Laos on November 19. President Tran Quoc Tuan also emphasized that the matches are not only meaningful in terms of achievements but also an important opportunity to improve the position on the FIFA rankings, thereby enhancing the team's brand and creating advantages in the group stage draws at official international tournaments.
On behalf of the coaching staff and the entire team, head coach Kim Sang-sik expressed his deep gratitude to VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan for always caring for and standing side by side with the team in every stage.
