Dien Bien Memories Art Program – Recreating history through music

The Dien Bien Phu Victory in May 1954 was the pinnacle of Vietnam's military intelligence, the great victory of the resistance war against France. Every Vietnamese person, when mentioning the great victory of the nation, cannot forget the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory with pride and honor for a miracle "Resounding throughout the five continents, shaking the earth", a majestic monument of the dignity, intelligence, bravery and spirit of the Vietnamese people in the new era.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater is honored to perform an art program titled "Dien Bien Memories..." to review with the audience the story of the nation 7 decades ago through heroic but extremely romantic songs such as: Soldiers Return to the Village, Muong La Baby, Northwest Love Song... with the desire to relive the historical period of the nation with veterans, parents and rekindle national pride in today's young generation. Please come to the art program "Dien Bien Memories..." at 8:00 p.m. on May 4, 2024 at the Hanoi Opera House.

The program is written and directed by People's Artist Tran Binh and his team, with the participation of artists: People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, singer Hoang Viet Danh, Pham Thu Ha, Thanh Thao, Trung Sy, Hue Thuong... and the groups: Thoi Gian, Phuong Nam.
