The new version of Han River Grass Caravan will premiere at Tran Huu Trang Opera House on the evening of June 21.

"Currently, Cai Luong is facing difficulties, many producers and producers are very careful when choosing actors, they must have a name, must be a star, to ensure ticket sales.

"That's why I respect Chanh when he suggested that we only need to invite talented young actors, not necessarily stars, so that they have the opportunity to learn, practice their profession and shine, and develop their abilities" - director Hoa Ha explained when he agreed to stage the new version of Ganh Co Song Han .

Mr. Hoang Song Viet added that The Carry of Grass on the Han River is a historical play.

"The play has many good songs, creating opportunities for the artists to sing, so the actors we chose are mainly good singers.

"The Han River Grass Cargo" is a good script but not difficult, so we decided to choose it because it is suitable for young actors" - Mr. Viet shared.

Mr. Viet also humorously said: "If the production of Han River Grass in 2025 is difficult, it is because of... the director!". The reason Mr. Viet had to "warn" the actors in advance is because Hoa Ha is famous for being strict, difficult and skilled.

The plays she has recently directed have been highly appreciated for their artistic quality, such as The People on the Edge of the City, The People Carrying Nine Death Sentences, and The Poetry of the Saddle ...

With Ganh co song Han , fans also expect her to breathe new life into a play that is all too familiar to cai luong lovers.

And to achieve that, on the rehearsal floor, the actors often "secretly say" "listening to Ms. Ha's swearing is so addictive!".

In the young actor team participating in Han River Grass, only Minh Truong was lucky enough to participate in many plays staged by Hoa Ha, so he was familiar with her work intensity.

Golden Bell of Traditional Opera Ngoc Doi is a Western actress highly regarded for her singing and acting ability. She used to be a long-time actress of Cao Van Lau Theater, and now she has transferred to Long An Cai Luong Troupe.

Ngoc Doi shared that she had the opportunity to participate in 3 plays produced by Hoa Ha for the program Ngan mai chuong vang , and during those times she felt her professional ability improved a lot. After 10 years, Ngoc Doi always wanted to continue working with Hoa Ha but had no chance.

This time, when invited, she immediately seized the opportunity and said: "It's okay if I scold you, I scold you for being good at your job, there's nothing to be shy about."

In addition to Ngoc Doi and Minh Truong, Ganh co song Han also has the participation of Nha Thi, Khanh Du (from Dong Nai), Trung Cuong ( Bac Lieu ), Bien Thuy (champion of Bong lua vang), Pham Vu Thanh, Thanh Thuan, Trong Hieu, Hoang Chuong...
