As reported by Thanh Nien Newspaper, VPF has sent an official dispatch requesting 4 teams currently playing in the first division, Khanh Hoa, Dong Nai, Long An and Dinh Huong Phu Nhuan, to report specifically on the transfer and legal changes that the clubs are implementing, and to reconfirm all registration information for the 2024-2025 national professional football season, with the deadline being before 5:00 p.m. on August 19.
Dong Nai team did not give up the tournament
Today, after continuous efforts, Khanh Hoa province leaders have confirmed that they will strongly support Khanh Hoa Club to participate in Vietnamese professional tournaments, specifically the first division and the National Cup 2024-2025.
Previously, the Department of Culture and Sports sent a dispatch to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, proposing two options, including the proposal that the coastal city football team continue to try to compete in the first division, using the core of young players that they have trained themselves.
Dong Nai football will continue to stick with the professional playground
Also on the morning of August 20, Dong Nai football people could breathe a sigh of relief when Dong Nai Club was officially given the "green light" to continue competing in the 2024-2025 first division. This is very good news for this Southeast representative who is considered to have great football potential.
So far, the first division this season will have 10 teams participating. In particular, Dinh Huong Phu Nhuan team has officially sent a letter requesting to withdraw from the tournament, while the future of Long An club is awaiting a decision from the provincial leaders.
