The second season of the continental women's football tournament - Asian Women's C1 is about to start, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club with the achievement of reaching the semi-finals in the previous season is ranked in the second seed group of the tournament and the group stage draw will take place on September 11.
In addition, the Vietnamese women's football representative was also given the right to host the group stage, alongside the two defending champions Wuhan Jiangda (China) and ISPE (Myanmar). The time will take place in Thong Nhat (HCMC) from November 13 to 19, the group stage in Myanmar from November 9 to 15, and November 17 to 23 (China).
Accordingly, the number 1 seed group includes Wuhan Jiangda, Melbourne City (Australia) and Suwon (Korea). In the same group with Vietnam are Tokyo Verdy Beleza (Japan) and Bam Khatoon (Iran).

In the last two groups, Stallion Laguna (Philippines), East Bengal (India), Naegohyang (North Korea) - group 3; Group 4 includes PFC Nasaf (Uzbekistan), Lion City Sailors (Singapore), ISPE.
In the first season of the Asian Women's C1 tournament, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club also hosted the group stage and won 2 victories against Odisha (India), Taichung Blue Whale (Chinese Taipei) to quickly enter the quarterfinals, and only lost to Japanese representative Urawa Red Diamonds.
In the knockout round, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club made a dramatic comeback against Abu Dhabi Country Club to reach the semi-finals and lost to the defending champions. This achievement brought Vietnam women's football into the top 4 of the Asian Women's Club Rankings.
Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club currently has no information about strengthening its forces for the continental tournament and is focusing on defending its title at the 2025 National Women's Championship.
